On today's show, Benito announces that he's leaving us for his one true love, Gamespot--the good news is, he's still in the family, and more importantly, in the building, to help out the new guy, Steve Beacham. To put the RIAA’s request into perspective, the sum that they’re asking for in judgement in the recently discussed lawsuit against limewire is approximately equal to the amount of money spent by the US government… ever, in the whole history of the country.

Alternatively, it’s a little under the total sum of all money made by the entire US economy during Limewire’s short life.

While it’s not in, certain cases, unheard of to ask for damages of more money than your company has ever made (as the judge noted); it is, in fact, patently absurd to ask for more money than *everyone else* has made.

The RIAA’s request is essentially a more precise way of asking for “”a gazillion dollars”".

I don’t know if this has been covered; but the best thing about the amazon app store… there is no restriction to android devices you can have paired to one account. So if you have a family of android users; you can log them all into the Amazon app store for one user and buy apps for multiple devices without having to worry about others having access to your email or google account. This is confirmed by Amazon; I got a response tonight from a customer service rep.
