If what you've really been missing is a 10-pound, 10-inch statue of the Noble Team, the team of fighters that are the heroes of the hotly-anticipated video game Halo: Reach, then don't fret. Your time is coming soon.

Mere mortals may scoff at the need for such a collectible, but true Halo fans know that those who end up with these icons are going to be the envy of the many who can't get their hands on them. Thankfully, everyone will have the same chances of ending up with one.

Bungie announced the limited and Legendary editions of Halo: Reach. The Legendary edition will feature a ten-pound statue of the Noble Team. Bungie

On Thursday, Microsoft and Bungie unveiled the details of the Halo: Reach "limited" and "Legendary" editions, both of which are now available for pre-order and will be released sometime this fall. As previously reported, the Halo: Reach beta will begin on May 3. The game will be an Xbox 360 exclusive.

The limited edition, which will cost Halo fans $80, includes the game disc and manual, as well as a game disc "housed in recovered ONI 'black box;'" an Elite armor set that players can use when they're in multiplayer mode; and an artifact bag with the personal journal of Dr. Halsey, as well as "other classified documents and effects that unravel long-held secrets from the Halo universe."

The Legendary edition, which will run a cool $150, will come with all of the above items plus the Noble Team statue, which was designed by the well-known plaything shop, McFarlane Toys; UNSC-themed packaging; and a multiplayer Spartan armor effect. The statues will be individually made and numbered, Bungie said.

In addition, Bungie said Thursday that it has rolled out a brand-new video documentary--or "ViDoc" for those in a hurry--called "Carnage Carnivale," which will pull back the curtain on "explosive new gameplay footage" and "insightful, colorful commentary directly from the Bungie design team covering the process o creating new weapons, game modes and multiplayer features in Halo: Reach."

It's not known exactly how well Halo: Reach will do when it releases this fall, but it's a pretty good bet that it will sell more than a few copies. It's doubtful that it will challenge the astounding sales of Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and even Halo 3's previous record-best launch sales are probably safe. But it's safe to say that Bungie, and Microsoft, will likely have a big hit on their hands.

Will you shell out the $150 for the Legendary edition? If so, I'd love to hear why that little heavy statue is worth it to you.
