Intuit, the personal-finance software maker, says that its TurboTax tax preparation software will be available for sale at most Safeway grocery stores. "By expanding our distribution channels to include food and drug stores, we've made buying a copy of TurboTax as easy as buying a loaf of bread," Bob Meighan, vice president of Intuit's consumer tax group, said in a statement. The deluxe and regular versions of TurboTax have been the top-selling software packages in the United States for the past few months, according to market researcher NPD Intelect.
