'Big Hero 6' cast returns to voice new animated series

Hairy babies, rejoice. Stars including Maya Rudolph, Alan Tudyk and even Stan Lee will reprise their roles when the show comes to Disney XD in 2017.

On a scale of 1 to 10, we would rate this news an 11, Baymax.

"Big Hero 6" fans already knew the 2014 film was getting an animated television series on Disney XD in 2017, but now there's even better news.

Most of the movie's voice cast, including Ryan Potter (Hiro Hamada) and Scott Adsit (Hiro's personal healthcare companion, Baymax) will return for the series, Disney announced Thursday.

Other big names returning include Maya Rudolph as Hiro's Aunt Cass, Alan Tudyk as Alistair Krei, Jamie Chung as Go Go and Genesis Rodriguez as Honey Lemon.

Unfortunately, one of my favorites, laid-back Fred, will be getting a new voice, as T.J. Miller won't be returning. Neither will Damon Wayans Jr. as Wasabi. But Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee, who voiced Fred's zillionaire dad, will be back. That's worth a "balalalalalala" fist bump right there.
