With a new Batman, we get a new sweet ride for the Caped Crusader in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Most of us will never know the thrill of riding around in the new and improved Batmobile. But at least we can build it one brick at a time via the new Lego set, which will be displayed at San Diego Comic-Con International on July 9.

The Batmobile set "includes 306 pieces, two stud shooters and opening doors, a new Batman outfit deco, two additional unnamed characters and an additional vehicle," according to The Wall Street Journal.

Even though fans and collectors attending San Diego Comic-Con next week will get a chance to see the new set, everyone will have to wait until January 1, 2016 to buy it. The Lego set will retail for $30 (about £19, AU$39).

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," directed by Zack Snyder, is due to hit theaters on March 25, 2016. Snyder tweeted the first image of the rugged new Batmobile from the upcoming film in September.
