What's better than sliced bread? How about a game that simulates the life of a slice? The game I Am Bread shows "one slice of bread's epic and emotional journey as it embarks upon a quest to become toasted," as stated on its YouTube page.

From the creators of Surgeon Simulator, Bossa Studios brings to life a slice of bread as it travels from its loaf to the toaster via everything from a skateboard to a ceiling fan.

Just like any hero's journey, as a piece of toast you must steer clear of dangerous pitfalls like landing in the dryer or even the toilet! There's even romance -- if you count a moment in the game trailer where the slice humps a loaf of bread.

Regardless if you "knead" a real gaming challenge or just something to laugh at while suffering through a gluten-free diet, I Am Bread could be the perfect game for those who are interested in roll playing as the crucial part of any sandwich.
