Wiping your Motorola Droid: I know this works for the original droid.
1. Take out the sd Card.
2. With the phone off turn it on while holding the x key on the keyboard.
3. Press volume up and the camera button at the same time when you see the triangle exclamation point comes up.
4. Use the D-pad to select factory reset.

I recently made the switch from a regular cell phone to the Motorola Droid. There is 1 ability I miss from my old phone, VZ Navigator.
I often would use it to look for a specific store or restaurant in my location (such as when you need a DQ Blizzard fix or the little one needs a Happy Meal) and it would list just that store in my vicinity from closest to farthest and with one click could get the directions to that location. I could also search for local Gas Stations, it also listed the price of gas for each location. This was a great tool when traveling for work (outside of my normal commute area) and road trip vacations in areas where I wasn't as familiar with my local options. It was just one or two clicks and also made it easy to do while in the car, stopped at a red light.
I was recommended to try Places Directory and can search for the generic "restaurants", but haven't been able to figure out the best way to look for a specific restaurant by name or by category (like all Fast Food). When I do find the specific place I am looking for, I am not sure how to get the turn by turn navigation to that location started. For the Gas Station search, it doesn't list gas prices.
Do you have any tips on locating places and easily getting directions to that location for those of us traveling by car for our summer vacations?
