Amazon takes up to 75% off headphones for Cyber Monday

As part of its Gold Box feature, Amazon cuts up to 75% off some of CNET's favorite headphones from Klipsch, MEElectronics, and V-Moda.

Amazon's Gold Box feature is a catch-all page for the retailer's daily deals, and Cyber Monday gives music lovers the opportunity to grab a pair of the site's best-selling headphones at a seriously generous discount:

  • The Klipsh Image X10 are an older model, but still well worth the $84.99 price tag (76% off retail). CNET reviewed this one as well as its updated sibling that includes an in-line remote and microphone for calls, but their exceptionally clear and balanced audio response with passive sound isolation and superslim earpieces make a great sidekick to your music player. For shoppers serious about audio quality--generally referred to as audiophiles--these headphones are a solid investment. Buy the Klipsch Image X10 here.

  • Amazon cuts 50% off the price of its MEElectronics Sport Fi S6 in-ear sport headphone package, bringing the price down to just $25 for the ear buds, an armband and carrying case for active enthusiasts that like to sweat to a soundtrack. CNET's David Carnoy reviewed the Sport Fi S6 positively, if you can achieve a proper ear seal--luckily, MEElectronics includes six ear tip sizes to do just that. If you're looking for earphones that come with an armband, the Sport-Fi S6 set is worth checking out. Buy the MEElectronics Sport Fi S6 here.

  • The final Gold Box Cyber Monday deal is one of my personal favorites, the V-Moda Crossfade LP over-ear headphone. They're your best solution if you're a traveling DJ especially rough with your gear, or just expecting a lifetime of use from your next headphone purchase. CNET gave them a "Very Good" overall rating in our full review for their exceptionally open and spacious sound profile (an especially rare feat for closed-back headphone), and the company's CEO Val Kolton is obsessed with durability as much as sound quality.

Built double-tough and field tested by DJs and producers like Avicii, Funkagenda, Morgan Page, Erick Morillo, and Nervo, the Crossfade LPs remain a top performer on CNET's Best Headphones list and the preferred headphone of CNET's The 404 Show. Marked down to $75 from $200, make this headphone your new favorite Cyber Monday score. Buy the V-Moda Crossfade LP here.
