CNET's Next Big Thing panel is a yearly tradition at CES, and this year, the forward-thinking panel is set to take a close, hard look at anticipatory tech -- the technology in our homes and lives that's designed to learn our habits and preferences, track our routines and anticipate our needs in real time.
The panel is set for Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m. PT at the Las Vegas Convention Center (North Hall, room N257). It will be led by Lindsey Turrentine, CBS Interactive Senior Vice President of Content Strategy, and by CNET Editor at Large Brian Cooley (ViacomCBS is the parent company of CNET). They'll be joined on stage by industry experts including Cindy Cohn, executive director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation; Rana El Kaliouby, co-founder and CEO of Affectiva; Doug Clinton, managing partner at Loup Ventures; and Michele Turner, senior director of Google Smart Home Ecosystem.
