Zeemote, like a Wiimote for mobile phones

>> Hi, this is Jessica Dolcourt from CNET and I'm here at CTIA 2008 in Las Vegas. I'm here with Rob Podoloff from Zeemote and he's gonna show us a really cool joystick for mobile games on your mobile phone.
>> What we're showing here is the Zeemote JS1 Wireless Controller. Basically what it does is enable a console-like gaming experience on your mobile phone. What we've got is a device, which fits naturally in your hand and allows you to control the game action on your phone just like you would on your game console.
>> What kind of games can I play here on my phone?
>> Really any genre game. The games that we think it works best with are shooting first person-types of games, driving games, flying games, but of course it also works really well with the casual games.
>> Can you show me a little bit of the action here with this joystick?
>> Here, this game is called Heli Strike. It's from a company called Fishlabs in Germany. And basically what we're doing is flying a helicopter and basically trying to save the world. What we've got is a true analog joystick. Now what I mean by that is that you can actually control the level at which something moves or turns. The controller has four buttons that are programmable, so that the user can control the game action any way he wants.
>> I'm Jessica Dolcourt and this has been the Zeemote controller.
