I'm Bridget Carey with CNET here at CES 2013.
I'm at the booth for Withings.
This is a company that always makes monitors that help track your health and they have a new type of scale this year.
It's called the Withings Smart Body Analyzer.
Before they had a scale that will track your body fat, your BMI, your weight, now, they've added a few new features.
It also tracks your heart rate when you step on it.
It's like 3 extra seconds
to scan your heart rate and if you leave it in your bedroom or any room, it'll track the quality of the air, so your CO2 levels.
And the idea here is when you do leave it in your bedroom, you can go to sleep and wake up and say, "All right, Am I sleeping in a room that has good air quality to it or should I open a window?" And this time, it not only connects to your smartphone via WiFi, but it also connects via Bluetooth.
It's gonna come out in the first quarter of this year and for about $149, that's even $10 less than the original scale.
For CNET, I'm Bridget Carey and this is the first look at the Withings Smart Boxy Analyzer.
