Waterproofing and Android Marshmallow in Sony's Xperia X Performance
Sony has launch three new Xperia smart phones at this year's Mobile World Congress.
The Xperia X, the XA and the X performance.
And that one that I'm taking a look at here.
Now as the performance name suggest, this is the most powerful of all three phones.
Inside is packing Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 processor.
That is an Opticore chip, so it should be extremely powerful.
Backed up by three gigabytes of RAM.
And of course, it's running the latest Android Marshmallow software.
Now, it's got a five inch screen with a 1080p resolution, so not as crisp as Sony's Unlike [INAUDIBLE] Xperia Z5 and while the x and the xa don't have the waterproofing that we've come to expect from Sony's Xperia phone the x performance does.
That means you can happily drop it in the toilet or spill your beer on it.
Know that this phone will not come off any worse.
On the back of the phone is a 23 mega pixel camera and it's here as well.
That will see some pretty familiar Sony branding this very minimalist back it's got a nice brushed metal effect.
Sony has confirmed that this phone will be released in Asia and the US in the coming months.
Although wider availability across Europe and the UK isn't yet known but do make sure to [UNKNOWN] cnet for all the latest
