Use iOS or Android to control your TV with Sony's TV Sideview
-Hey everyone, I'm Jason Jenkins for CNET at CES.
And this is Sony's TV Sideview.
It's a new app for iOs and android.
And basically what it does is it controls your TV for you.
Once you told it where you live, you'll get an APG on the screen and you can scroll through it and find out what you wanna watch, click it, and it will go straight on to the TV.
The other good thing about it is it can access all your Sony apps there on the TV on the app as well.
So, you basically click around and enter the apps in the same way you would as if you were using the remote with your TV.
And the third thing is it's got unified search.
So, if you search for something like Start Trek, you'll look across the APG and it will find out if Star Trek's on and it will show.
It will also look in all the apps to see if one of the apps maybe got Star Trek for you.
It will look in Youtube and see if Star Trek's there.
It will show you also on the screen.
You can just click on it and watch it from there.
It's out-- it's out now, I think, android and iOs.
It's gonna be Windows 8 later.
I'm Jason Jenkins and this is the Sony TV Sideview.
