I'm Donald Bell for CNET.com and today, we are unboxing the Samsung Galaxy S4, one of our favorite smartphones of all time.
Let's see what's in this box.
Here we go.
What's in here?
How big is it?
It looks like-- it's about that big.
There you go.
There's the box for the S4.
Kind of a neat box, it's like a faux wood grain cardboard box here, something you can recycle, that's nice.
It's not something we're seeing in a lot of products these days but it's a nice gesture.
Opening it up and there it is, the S4.
This plastic cover, set that aside for a moment and let's see what else is in here.
We've got our quick start guide.
Again, some recyclable materials here, it looks like they've got a long way to make this
look like they've used recycled paper on this.
Eco-friendly or at least eco-friendly looking.
What else is in this box?
Looking inside here we've got the micro USB cable here for both charging and syncing with your computer, power adapter that also works with this USB cable for charging.
Some earbuds, kind of a nicer pair of earbuds here in your headphones with the little silicon
tips for a good fit in your ear, along with the remote clicker here for volume and play/pause, some good-looking headphones from Samsung.
They did not cup out.
All right and also some extra tips here, just in case you've got some funky ears.
What else do we have?
The battery pack.
You wanna put this in your phone if you wanted to work and that's it, that's the entire contents of the box.
Let's pop that battery in.
Boot this thing
up and see what we get.
Kind of gently peeling off the plastic backing.
See inside here there's the cavity for the battery.
You'll also get a micro SD card slot here for adding more storage, a nice feature, not something you'll find on the iPhone and your SIM card slot.
Now, the cool thing about this phone is that it's available on every major carrier, so you could use this with whoever you want.
So, there you go.
That's the Samsung Galaxy S4 all unbox.
It's a very cool phone
and very easy to recommend.
