Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916The Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916 offers up a unique design, and slightly better graphics performance than the competition.
>> Josh: Hi, I'm Josh Goldman, Senior Editor for CNET Reviews and in front of me here is the Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916 it's a 15.4 inch mainstream budget laptop with a good mix of components including a decent Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 4G of memory and a discrete 512M graphics card. It also offers extras like touch-sensitive controls and a webcam all for less than $800. This laptop features Toshiba's high-gloss fusion finish with a pattern it calls Kinetic we happen to like it but it's definitely not for everyone. What we also liked were the touch-sensitive multimedia controls, the 80211N WiFi, the above average sounding speakers and the generous port and connection options including an HDMI out, an ESADA USB combo port and the ability to charge devices through that combo port and the 3 other USB ports even while the computer is shut down. On the downside the keyboard though it's comfortable for typing is glossy and collects fingerprints, there's no integrated Bluetooth and although it's a good price it does cost more than the laptops from other vendors with similar components. In the end it's tough not to like this model since it offers up a unique design, slightly better graphics performance than the competition and a couple fun extras that make paying more for it worthwhile. I'm Josh Goldman and that's the Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916. ^E00:01:35
