This Samsung fridge comes with a deluxe drawerNo, it isn't that new $6,000 smart fridge. But at less than half the price, this French door model might hold some value.
[MUSIC] We spent a lot of time talking about that $6,000 Samsung family hub smart fridge, but this is a Samsung fridge that costs about half that. It's the $3,300 Samsung RF28HMEDBSR. It doesn't have any fancy smarts, but it does have this dedicated drawer here that you can dial between different presets. And this is basically an identical model to the Samsung food showcase French door fridge. That I reviewed last year. This model gets rid of that door to door food show case feature and replaces it with that drawer. I think for my money I'd much rather have that flex drawer it's a more useable and practical feature and much less of a gimmick. The Flextor is also a strong performer in our test. It was accurately steady, both of the high temperature of 42 and the low setting at 29. The rest of the fridge wasn't as impressive, though. I both this to fall at 37 degrees setting and the coldest is set as 34 degrees. Everything were kinda uniformly A few degrees warm. Nothing too alarming, but still not great for the price you're paying for this thing. Now, that price might be a little lower than you expect, because this fridge is about a year old, and Samsung is currently rolling a lot of New 2016 models on to the floor spaces of retailers across the country so if you can find it a place that trying to clear room for those models, you might be able to catch a good sale. I've seen it online and at different retailers for about 2600. If it is that or lower, I say it's actually a pretty good deal.
