The Honor Magic is a beautiful phone with some clever built-in settings that goes a step further than other phones to anticipate your needs.
I got a quick look at the device which is already on sale in China and should come to countries like the US soon.
It's made of metal and has a curved front and back.
There are also two cameras on the rear that sends depth in addition to all the usual photo filters.
And there's a single home button on the front that doubles as a fingerprint sensor.
But what's really special about this phone is all under the hood.
Huawei says that it's using AI on top of Android software, so it can sense who you are and what you want.
For example, if the room is dark or if you put your finger over the light sensor like I did Then you'll see an option to turn on the flashlight from the lock screen.
You can also set up smart notifications so that the phone shows your alerts only after it scanned your face to make sure that you are really you and not your nosy neighbor.
There are also tons of other settings for your upcoming flights.
Detailed taxi information and streaming music.
Some of these tools feel a lot like what Google Now already offers but others are new.
I didn't get enough time with the Honor Magic to test out all of it's claims but is one of the more exciting phones that I'll be keeping an eye on in 2017.
