CNET First Look
The Verykool Quantum is a budget KitKat smartphoneThis unlocked phone has 4G LTE, but its limited features hold it back.
[MUSIC] Hi I', Sarah Mitroff at Cnet and today I have a first look of the Verykool Quantumm. The Quantumm is the first smartphone from Verykool that supports 4G LTE and chips with Android 4.4 Kitlat. It has a modern android design and offers fast dataspeed if you have a 4G LTE connection. The phone sports a 5 inch, 480 by 854 pixels of slate which is low by todays standards. Feel, the screen is bright and readable, the quantum has a predominantly plastic design, the smooth white battery cover on the back, behind the cover, you'll find the sim card, and micro sd card slots. There is an 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera and both take disappointing photos. The phone has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM. There's space for 2 GB of storage and you can add up to 64 GB with and SD card. With Android Kit Kat you get the standard Google apps, like Hangouts and Calendar. Very cool, also threw in a few extras including a device manager, flashlight app, and an office suite called WPS office. At $230 dollars off contract, the Quantum is an Android Kit Kat Phone that won't hurt your wallet too much. Unfortunately, the phone is lacking any features that would help it stand out from other budget devices. You can read my full review of the very cool Quantum on cnet.com. I'm Sarah Mitroff. Thanks for watching. [MUSIC]
