The $99 Sony Xperia Ion for AT&TFor just $99 the Sony Xperia Ion for AT&T packs a dual-core punch, fast 4G LTE, and a 12 megapixel camera.
Hi this is Brian -- for cnet.com and today we're taking a first look at the Sony Xperia I -- For 9999. On AT&T this Android Smartphone is handsomely style. Runs a one point five gigahertz dual core Qualcomm processor and packs a twelve megapixel camera. It also is the first Sony handset to connect to AT&T'S fast four GL TE data network. On front is a four point six and 720. LCD screen. A 720. Below are capacitor buttons for the four major Android gingerbread controls. That's right I said gingerbread. Sadly the Xperia ion unlike modern Android phones doesn't run Android Ford auto Ice Cream Sandwich. Sony has tweaked stock Android though to be more ICS like. For instance there are customizable. Shortcuts on the lock screen and you can create folders by dragging app icons on top of each other. On the top edge is a 3.5 millimeter headphone Jack the right side holds power button. Volume rocker and dedicated shutter button that will wake the phone from sleep and launch the camera function. An ability not many handsets have. The left side houses a flap which covers both the micro USB port and HDMI connection. For connecting the Xperia ion to HT TVs. Near field communication technology or NFC is also on board which allows information to be transferred between compatible phones and devices. Just by tapping them together. I'm Brian Bennett and this has been a first look at the Sony Xperia -- -- to be sure to check out our full review at cnet.com.
