The 17-inch Samsung Series 7The Samsung Series 7 Chronos stands out from the desktop replacement crowd by hiding high-end components, including a quad-core processor, inside a very a slim design.
I'm Dan Ackerman here -- our brand is set to bring you a first look. The seventeen inch version of the Samsung series seven -- up. Now with a seventeen inch screen that -- as a desktop replacement. The kind of big blackout need to set up on your -- to replace what used Pampers is probably that desktop and a computer and monitor setup. -- this is a lot thinner than a lot of desktop replacement laptops that in fact -- finding the and seventeen inch laptop is pretty rare these days because Apple is discontinued. -- that kind of cult favorite seventeen inch MacBook Pro you can even get anymore. This is the closest that I see to it becomes and it just under one inch thick which for big -- -- -- Is actually pretty -- despite the fact that they pack in cited a new third generation Intel Quad Core core I seven processor. And a fairly decent Nvidia 650 M graphics kind. Along with -- spinning platter hard drive but the thought of it as close to him. An ultra book style as you're gonna find in a seventeen inch laptop right now. I really like the the -- keyboard that is back lit up of the actual size of the keys themselves. Glow and that gives you kind of a nice look when the lights are out it's got a big touchpad that's about what you'd find on a MacBook not quite as responsive. But fairly decent and it's even got three different video out -- -- day HDMI dvi and the old VGA port. You can go -- to multiple monitors at the same time. The screen itself is a big highlights a full 1920 by 1080 resolution and it's a matte screen. So it's not super glossy not gonna pick up a lot of glare from nearby like we always like to see that. Even though this system is made of aluminum with -- them for quite as sturdy as something like -- -- inch MacBook Pro did.
