Tech Minute: Streamline your social networksKeeping up with all of your social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and LinkedIn can be a full-time job. In this Tech Minute, CNET's Kara Tsuboi reports on two free services that can help you streamline your online social activity and help...
If you're someone with lots of social networking accounts but with little time then Summify may be a good service for you. Right now works with Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader. Once you create an account, sync your networks and then wait for the service algorithms to sort out which stories, tweets or updates are the most important. It figures this out by judging which items are the most popular amongst others in your network or based on previous reading history. This list can be sent to you through e-mail on your mobile device or through your browser. Another service called Bliss Control is a great way to manage all the personal and privacy settings for your accounts since each service is different and the settings are often buried deep inside the site. It can be tricky to change something as simple as e-mail settings. With Bliss Control, select the action you'd like to take and then choose the social network you'd like to adjust and then press go. The site will automatically take you to that specific page to make your changes. Being social couldn't be easier. In San Francisco, I'm Kara Suboy, CNET.com for CBS News.
