-Hey guys, Eric Franklin here and today we're taking a first look at the T-Mobile SpringBoard. This is a 7-inch tablet running Honeycomb 3.2 and is available only through T-Mobile directly. The tablet is light with a weight under a pound and is about as thin as the Blackberry Playbook and thinner still than the HTC Flyer. Speaking of which, the SpringBoard kind of looks a lot like the HTC Flyer at least from the back, but that's where the similarities end. The SpringBoard includes micro USB, Mini HDMI and a microphone Pinhole on its bottom edge. Speakers and a headphone jack are on the top with the volume racker power button the side. There's a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera with a 5-megapixel camera. On the back is a removable cover where the SIM card resides and there's a slot for micro SD card as well. Pre installed apps include Netflix, T-Mobile TV, as useful file manager, and the Blockbuster video app. The SpringBoard for 180 bucks directly from T-Mobile, but requires a 2-year service agreement with monthly payments ranging from 10 to 30 bucks. We're excited about the inclusion of Netflix and the low initial price is great. The 2-year commitment still scares me though, so be sure to check out our full review to see you're ready to take a punch. Once again, I'm Eric Franklin and this has been a first a first look at the T-Mobile SpringBoard.
