T-Mobile myTouch Q (Huawei) hands-onThe $49.99 T-Mobile myTouch Q by Huawei offers the power of Android, a physical keyboard, and 4G data for a low entry price.
Hi this is Brian -- for cnet.com and today we're taking a first look at the T-Mobile myTouch Q by -- way. This is very affordable Android Smartphone cost 4999. And will arrive on T-Mobile August 8. So what do you get for the low price actually quite a bit. The myTouch Q runs Android two got three gingerbread sorry no cutting edge for about one -- -- nor Ford auto Ice Cream Sandwich here. Powered by -- one point four gigahertz single core CPU. Other features include a four inch LCD screen five megapixel camera. Connection to T-Mobile sports GH SPA plus data network. A long time myTouch -- -- staple is the genius voice command feature that uses -- wants software to accomplish Siri style searches and phone functions. Above the screen is a zero point three megapixel front facing camera. Below the display are four -- buttons three for standard Android functions menu home and back. The fourth launches T mobile's genius voice command feature. The site holds a micro USB port and tiny volume buttons on top of the phone -- -- power key and 3.5 millimeter headphone Jack. On the right edge is a dedicated camera button. Sliding open the myTouch Q reveals its four row QWERTY keyboard. Now right off the bat there are some things I don't like about BT mobile myTouch Q. -- six point five ounces and over half an inch thick it's big and heavy. -- dedicated camera button launches the camera app but doesn't wake the phone if it's in sleep mode. I'm not a fan of the keyboard either but I suppose -- -- by the current king of Android cores the Motorola Droid four. Performance also feels a bit sluggish. I'm Brian Bennett and this has been a first look at the T-Mobile myTouch Q but while waiting to be sure to check out our full review at cnet.com.
