Staples and Zonoff are now announcing large-scale expansion at this year's CES.
Hi, I'm Rich Brown for CNET.
We're here at CES in the Zonoff suite.
Now, Zonoff is providing the tech behind the Staples Connect home automation hub.
You see the retail store front.
It's gonna be in Staples, that's maybe an example.
Maybe we'll see something like this.
The idea though is that you come in to Staples, you come in to a retail store, and you see sort of the full breath of what you can buy for home automation on retail.
So you've got everything in display here from automated doorbells, you've got locks, you've got motion detection,
you've got voice automation, a few light bulbs.
Really gives consumers a good idea of what they can buy, what they can do in terms of home automation right now.
It's actually a pretty great showcase for this kind of stuff, and I have a feeling we'll see more of it as more of these home automation kits roll out into retail nationwide.
So I'm Rich Brown, here we are at the Zonoff suite at CES.
Thanks for watching.
