Sony updates its powerhouse compact with the RX100 IVThe camera has the same design as its predecessor, but it's faster.
[MUSIC] Hi, I'm Lori Grunin for CNET, and this is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 mark IV. I think IV is a record in this business. In any case, it looks the same on the outside, but on the inside its got Sony's new one inch stacked CMOS sensor. Same resolution, but the sensor does give you a lot of great fast capabilities like a top shutter speed of 1/32,000th of a second. 960 frame per second max. Burst mode for slow motion shooting. 16 frames per section continuous shooting. And, of course, last but not least, 4K video On this camera, you can only record small clips. But, if you get the RX10, that allows you to do 29 minute video. Is slated to ship in July and it'll be $1,000. Clearly at the top of RX100 line. I'm Laurie [UNKNOWN] and this is the Sony DSC-RX100 Mark IV.
