Sony DashBrian Tong shows off the Sony Dash, a new Internet connected device, at CES 2010 in Las Vegas.
[ Background music ] >> Brian Tong: Brian Tong here at CES 2010 with the Sony Dash and this is really an all new concept of a class of product that Sony's putting together. This is what they call their personal internet viewer so if you look here you have access to your photos, your videos as well as music and these are really through streaming internet services or a variety of applications. There's over 1000 of them and they are free there's really no subscription required here but this is really built on the chummy app platform, something that you guys might be familiar with. Now this is a 7 inch LCD touch screen. It also has an accelerometer so depending on how you want to look at it you can also flip it so it's kind of flatter or put it this way where it's a more upright standing product. Now this is something I could really see somewhere put in like your kitchen or your bedroom. It does have a built in alarm clock and it does connect to your home network wirelessly. It's gonna be priced at 199 and available sometime in April 2010 but there it is the Sony Dash.
