Sony brings all its new tech to A7 line
I'm Lori Grunin for CNet and this is the Sony A7R Mark Two.
The newest in it's full frame mirrorless camera line, the A7R Mark Two uses the world's first full frame backside illuminated sensor and it's got 42.4 megapixels.
And the camera does four kay.
Internally, and it fortifies the sensitivities up to 102,400 and it's got 399 face detection points.
So it should have much better auto focus performance than we see in a lot of the older A7 models.
One notable aspect The camera, is that it has super 35 millimeter mode.
Which let's you shoot four k video taking just the center of the sensor, so that you're not taking every other line or down sampling a lot of pixels and throwing data out.
The camera also incorporates the five axis Image stabilization sensor shift that we saw in the previous A7 model, which means that any lens you put on it will have image stabilization.
Really looking forward to testing this one when it comes out in August.
And it will be $3,200.
I'm Lori Grunin and This is the Sony Alpha A7 RR2.
