>> Hi, I'm Ken Sherman, Senior Editor here at CNET.com. I'm here at CES 2010. I want to show you the Sonim XP3.2 Quest Pro. It's very similar to a phone we reviewed last year called the Sonim XP3 Quest. It is one of the most indestructible, rugged phones I have ever seen. You can do a lot of things with it. You can put it in the oven, you could put it in the freezer, you can dunk it in water, you can drop it from a couple floors up. We even hammered it with a--we even used it as a hammer to put a nail in some wood. We tried hammering a nail in the screen. So really, it's a rugged, indestructible phone. But what's new about this phone is it has a few things. It has something called Gorilla Glass here in the display. It's a lot stronger. We haven't actually tested it fully yet, but really, it will stand up to almost anything. Also has a few new features. You get assisted GPS and you get support for Java apps. So feature-wise, it's not so exciting. There is a two-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, sort of a midrange feature. So really just for making calls, maybe sending messages. And you can get the GPS, so that's nice. But it's all about the design of this phone. And I really love how they have the back here, so you have to screw this on, the battery cover, you can put it all the way under water, as I said, and it will be totally fine. You can even--the buttons on the side, they are sealed, so there's no moisture, anything won't get into it. It is certified for military specifications, so that means for all sorts of things like salt, fog, dust, solar radiation, high and low temperature extremes. So you need a phone that will stand up to almost anything, this is probably a good one for you. It isn't sold with a carrier, but it is a Quad Band World Phone, so you can use it with any GSM carrier. It is [inaudible], and it can be kind of expensive. I think it's about $400, if I remember correctly. But if you really need a phone that will stand up to almost anything, it's probably for you. I'm Ken Sherman, and this is Sonim XP3.2 Quest Pro.
