Seagate Wireless PlusThe all new Seagate Wireless Plus mobile storage device is a major upgrade to the Seagate Satellite
Dong Ngo here at CES 2013. I have here with me the Wireless Plus from Seagate. This is a mobile hard-drive that comes with a built-in battery and a built-in wireless access point. So, it can connect multiple devices to it and stream content from it. Basically, it's like a wireless storage expanded for your Smartphone or tablet. Now, this is the second unit of the same type coming from Seagate, replacing the Seagate satellite that came out more than a year ago. This actually has a lot of improvements, however. For one, it now comes with 1TB Mobile storage space, double. And it also has a much longer battery life of 10 hours. At the same time, it's still very compact. It can fit on your palm. Now, Seagate's previous device, this one comes with an app for both the iOS and Android devices. The apps allow you to stream content from a video, photo or even documents. But now with the Wireless Plus, you actually can upload the photo and video with your phone on to the Wireless Plus. So, it works great as a back-up also. Now, the Wireless Plus comes included with the USB in adaptor to make it work like an extra hard-drive. When plugged into a computer, it also charges its batteries. But it also comes with a regular charger. The Wireless Plus is available now for $200. But make sure you check [unk] CES for the full review of it. Once again, my name is Dong Ngo and this has been the first preview look at the Wireless Plus from Seagate.
