>> I'm Nicole Lee, associate editor at CNET.com and this is the Sanyo M1 from Sprint and this is a very multimedia packed phone from Sprint. It has 1 GB of internal memory and it also has a built-in music player, camera, camcorder and a lot host of features. From the front here you can see it's pretty clunky, plastic, it sort of has very cheap plastic feel to it but it's pretty hefty, it feels good in the hand. On the front here is the external screen, its caller, so that's really good for us. You can use the screen for your photo caller ID; you can see currently playing tracks when the music player is playing. On the bottom here is the music player controls, you can see the play, pause, fast-forward, typical music player controls. On the right spine here are the voice command button and a dedicated camera button and on the other side here is the headset jack, voice recorder button, volume rocker and the charger jack. On the back here is the two mega pixel camera. Sell open up the phone and you get a really nice screen here, beautiful screen, full color, really good resolution. And on the bottom here you see a sort of uninteresting looking buttons, but really tactile, easy to press, sort of a jewel like in texture. We'd really like the menu system; it's sort of colorful, animated icons here so you can see. One thing we didn't really like is that you couldn't really take self-portraits with the camera, just because you have to hold it up to your face like this and there is no self-portrait mirror on the back and you can't use the external screen as a self-portrait viewfinder. Another thing that we thought was lacking was the lack of a micro-SD card slot, yes it is 1 GB of internal memory, it's pretty huge for the phone but a micro-SD card slot always helps.
