The Sanyo Innuendo offers a fair number of features, but we didn't love its design.
-Hi! I'm Kent German, senior editor here at cnet.com. Today, we're gonna take a first look at the Sanyo Innuendo for Sprint. The phone has the same basic design as the Incognito. So, there are few things you need to know. On outer face, you have a touch keypad and a very small external display. It's a unique design. I don't really love it on the Incognito and I still don't really love it here. I prefer physical controls especially when you're gonna be putting so many, just on this front space. You have a touch control for navigation array, soft keys, the Talk and End Power keys. And you have the tiny external display. You do have to open the phone to do a lot of things. Again, not love its design, just would like physical controls. Nice sturdy hinge on the side. When it move, it feels a little bit stiffed without feeling too loose, so it snaps on to place on either end which we like. Nice big internal display. It's colorful. It's bright. Spans a good width of the phone's length. So, it is pretty useful as far as being able to get in and get what you need. Keypad and control is down below. Pretty well-designed. Nice spacious keypad. It is only 3 rows, so you're gonna have to double up for numbers and some symbols. I didn't think it was easy to type, but the keys are tactile. You have a nice big spacebar down below. Midrange multimedia features because you get a personal organizer. You also get Bluetooth and all the basic things you'll find on a midrange phone. I just think that it's really about the design. Some people might like it. I've heard from some readers who really liked the Incognito. I'm just not a fan of these touch controls on the outside. Also, the phone is pretty glossy. It's a nice blue color, but it's shiny. It's reflective. Also, it is difficult to see out on the sunlight. Exactly, what you're looking at as far as the external display and also the controls. I'm Kent German and this is Sanyo Innuendo.
