Samsung has formally recalled all Samsung Galaxy Note 7s after new replacement Note 7s were still overheating and could catch fire.
The company also announced it is discontinuing production of the phone.
Samsung said this whole mess will cost the company roughly three billion dollars of operating profit in its fourth quarter of 2016.
The Note 7 debacle has also hurt Samsung's market value.
Amazon introduced a new ad free streaming service called Amazon Music unlimited.
Like pretty much every other music streaming service out there, it costs about ten dollars per month.
But since this is Amazon, Amazon Prime subscribers will get Music Unlimited for eight dollars per month, or they can pay a discounted rate $79 per year Owners of Amazon's line of Echo speakers will be able to access music unlimited for only $4 per month, but only through an Echo speaker.
The Yahoo takeover by Verizon may be in rough waters.
Verizon's general counsel told reporters that he thinks Verizon has a reasonable basis to believe that the impact of Yahoo's huge data breach is material This raises concerns that Verizon may be looking for a way out of it's deal to purchase Yahoo!
for 4.83 billion dollars.
When asked if a material finding would kill the acquisition, a Verizon spokesperson told CNet, the statement stands on it's own.
