Samsung's Galaxy camera for photographers, not phonersThe Samsung Galaxy NX combines the company's smartphone savvy with its mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera skills. The result: a potentially no-compromise solution for photographers who crave connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy NX looks like a camera that's going to be very interesting for people who need connectivity as well as high-quality photos. Its bid, and you can see it has a huge grip and that's because it has a huge battery which it needs to support the 4.8-inch LCD and the electronic viewfinder. The LCD is really nice although very reflective in direct sunlight. The camera's designed very much like the NX20 except it runs Android Jelly Bean and will be available with 3G, 4G, and LTE carrier packages. The camera includes some interesting new features from Samsung, such as a mode that will check the location you're shooting at and give you suggestions on how you wanna shoot it based on all the hundreds of people who've already shot there. While the Galaxy NX isn't for everyone, it is for people, like me, who need to shoot events and get photos uploaded immediately, and because it supports Samsung's NX lens line which currently has about 13 lenses. You have the flexibility you need to not be stuck with the same lens for every shot.
