>> Hi, I'm Kent German, senior editor at CNET.com, here today to show you the Samsung SGH-T119. This is a new phone for T-Mobile service. This phone is really just about making calls and sending messages. It does that pretty well. It's just a basic, black rectangle, really takes us back a few years in cell phone design, but very functional. Keypad and controls were pretty easy to use. Things that I found were missing, though, were a dedicated speakerphone key and a dedicated back key. Really like to have dedicated buttons, so that's definitely a downside to the phone. Another downside is the fact that there's no external volume rocker. So really prefer that volume rocker on the side. The display is serviceable for the phone's caliber, 65,000 colors, not the highest resolution and graphics look a little choppy. You're photos don't look that great, but the phone doesn't have a camera, so you really don't have to worry about that. It definitely does the job, but not the highest resolution display around. Icon based menu, so you're pretty user-friendly. So a very basic phone, really just for making calls and sending messages. But on that note, it does a pretty good job of performing those functions. I'm Kent German, and this is the Samsung SGH-T119.
