Samsung puts a new spin on its CES 2018 laptop line
Samsung is reshuffling its laptop line a bit for CES 2018.
Updating some products and combining features of others into new model.
the Notebook 9 Pen is a new entry taking a lot of what we liked about the previous systems, like the Notebook 9 Pro, and adding S Pen support, that's Samsung's proprietary Stylus, to this 2.2-pound, 13-inch hybrid with a 360-degree fold-back hinge That works as a laptop and as a tablet.
Both that and the non-hybrid Notebook 9 are getting updated to Intel's latest 8th generation core i-series processors.
And if you need a bit more, the Notebook 9 version also comes in a 15-inch size with some basic Nvidia graphics built in.
Those Notebook 9 models tend to have premium prices so the more mainstream feeling Notebook 7 Spin is also getting an update.
Active stylus support is new although the pen is still sold separately, you do get new 8th gen Intel chips and most importantly, a switch from old [UNKNOWN] style hard drives to faster, more efficient solid state ones.
