Samsung PN42A450PAt CES 2008, Brian Tong and Tony Bennett take a look at the first 3D-ready plasma TV.
^M00:00:01 [ Music ] ^M00:00:03 >> Hey guys what's up. I'm Brian Tong with CNET at CES 2008 and I kid you not Tony Bennett is right next to us checking out the same product that we're going to talk about so you know it must be hot. We're here at Samsung's booth and we're looking at a world's First; it's their series for a 3D ready Plasma TV. Now they call it the PN42A450P. Did you get all that? Okay, I know you did. Now check this out; it comes with a pair of wireless glasses. You've got to put these on and then talk through this emitter back here so as long as you have a 3D source, you're going to see it in all its glory. Now the TV set itself comes in two sizes, 42 inch and 50 inch, it has a 20,000 to 1 contrast ratio and an 18-bit color processor so you know the images are gonna look great. Now it comes out in April of 2008 and I gotta tell you I thought I would never see Tony playing a 3D racing game. But I guess I'm in Vegas, right? ^M00:00:54 [ Music ] ^M00:00:57
