Record your iPhone's screen with a Mac for free
If you've ever wanted to record your Iphone screen and you've got a Mac running Yosemite, you probably have everything you need.
Grab your Iphone and attach the lightning cable to it and your Mac.
Then launch Quicktime player.
Go to file and pick New Movie Recording.
You should see yourself, so wave.
Anyway click the little arrow to the right of the record button and you should see your phone by its name.
Mine is called .Rumble for two reasons.
One, so I can find it when it's a hotspot.
And two, because Rumble is an awesome decepticon.
If you want to record the audio output of your iPhone, change the microphone to your phone as well.
Now you will see your iPhone of your Mac and you can record whatever you want.
This is useful if you want to demo apps, or you want to make a copy of something that isn't easily exportable.
That's how you record your iPhone's screen and audio.
