Quick Tips: Look up words on a KindleUse the built-in dictionary to look up those hard, multisyllabic words.
>> I'm Tom Merritt from CNET dot com, here's a quick tip for using the dictionary in the Amazon Kindle. Reading comprehension gurus admonish us to never keep reading if we don't understand a word's meaning. Stop, go look it up, and understand the word before you proceed. It's kind of the dental flossing of reading. But the Kindle makes that real easy to follow. Anytime you encounter a hard word like capacious, scroll up until your cursor is next to the line with the word in question then click. Now select look up. A built in dictionary will display definitions for the words from that line. You can also use the same process to add notes and highlights to the book.
