For instance, the body feels likes it's built like a little tank and has a lot of the dust and weatherproofing features that you find in higher-end models. It also has a lot of the dedicated controls that I like. For instance, Pentax puts the shake reduction, they use a mechanical sensor shift type of shake reduction. They put the control right on the body. It also has certain controls that we're not seeing a lot in digital SLR's of this price class. It maintains the two separate control wheels. The LCD is a bit small, especially given the new models are coming out with really large ones. But, it takes really nice photos. This is the kit lens, if you buy the kit, it comes with this 18 to 55 millimeter lens. The one small gotcha is that the performance is just average. It doesn't outshoot all of the models in its price class. But, if you're looking for a digital SLR, you don't have a commitment to any Cannon or Nikon lens, this is a really nice one to consider. I'm Lori Grunin and this is the Pentax K10D. ^M00:01:17 [ Music ]
