Now, this is a pretty attractive looking camera, but that shouldn't hide the fact that it's also one tough little sucker. It is shock proof and waterproof. They say it's waterproof up to 10 feet, shockproof up to five feet, and also dust-proof. No word on whether it's also freeze-proof, ala the Canon PowerShot D10, but it's pretty tough nevertheless. And frankly, I think it's a little bit more attractive than that rugged camera. It comes in orange, green, or silver, and it's a 12-megapixel camera. Now, Panasonic also says this is the first waterproof, ruggedized camera that also shoots HD video. I think that's a pretty nice touch. It should be available sometime this spring for about $400.00. Again, this is Molly Wood from CNET.com with a First Look at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1. ^M00:00:53 [ Music ]
