It took Tesla less than five years to give the Model S a new look.
Last week inside sources at Tesla told CNet's sister site Roadshow, that it planned to revamp Model S. Now we know what it looks like.
The 2017 model takes cues from the Model X. Tesla's scrapping the fake grill, probably because electric vehicles don't actually need air flow under the hood.
Fans will probably also notice new fully adaptive LED headlights, and the model gets [UNKNOWN] grade [UNKNOWN] filtration system.
Now, that includes something Tesla calls, Bioweapon Defense Mode.
We don't know exactly what that is, but you're probably gonna need And there's no change in the battery as far we can tell, it still maxes out at 90 kilowatt hours.
But the charger gets un upgrade, it now pulls in 48 amps up from 40.
Now, this is no surprise that Tesla's updating its flagship sedan so soon as it faces a growing market for electric vehicles.
