Movies to catch before they go offline soon (and new releases)
Year One, Game of Thrones, and Hot Fuzz.
All that and more on Netpicks.
This is Netpicks, where we cover the best stuff coming online and going offline.
The biggest thing coming to the online world is HBO Now, HBO's new online-only service that will launch on Apple TV exclusively for a three-month period starting in April.
Now, what's the big deal about that?
The new season of Game of Thrones will run during that three-month period.
HBO Now launched in April and will cost about 15 bucks per month.
Now, let's talk about the movies that are available right now for free but are expiring on April 1st.
Head on over to Crackle, that's Crackle, when you can catch Hot Fuzz starring Simon Pegg as a straight-laced cop in a small town.
It's killer action-comedy.
The documentary Dave Chappelle's Block Party is also available until the first.
If you want some dumb humor, you can always check out Year One, Starring Jack Black and Michael Cera, or for you South Park fans, check out Baseketball.
Free movies, right?
What's the catch?
There are ads, but hey, it's free right?
On Netflix, starting March 15th it's time to sit and do nothing because the entire run of 3rd Rock from the Sun arrives.
And if you missed it, the first season of The Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt and the fifth season of Archer were just added to Netflix.
It's the perfect weekend to binge watch.
Oh, and here's what's leaving Netflix soon.
On March 15 say goodbye to House on Haunted Hill and Muppet Treasure Island.
March 16th The Tale of Desperaux goes away, and on the 22nd Romy and Michele's High School Reunion comes to a close.
