Microsoft Kinect: The software launch lineupThere are a half-dozen games available for the launch of the Xbox 360's Kinect camera peripheral. We tested them all, and tell you which ones are worth it.
-I'm Dan Ackerman. Microsoft's Kinect peripheral for the Xbox 360 is an impressive piece of hardware. -But it's not a compelling user experience unless you've got the right software to go with it. -So Scott Stein and I have decided to playtest the entire launch day Kinect line-up to figure out which games are worth getting. -Won't you take me to funky town? Won't you take me to funky town? -Freestyle. Everybody show us what you got. -Funky town? -Well, that was exhausting. There you have it, the entire launch day line-up of Kinect games. Scott, what was your favorite? -I think it's a toss up between Dance Central and Joy Ride. -I gotta agree with it. Those are the probably the best ones. Of course, all these really feel a little bit more like tech demos than full-fledged games. Hopefully, the next generation of Kinect games will be even better. I'm Dan Ackerman. -And I'm Scott Stein. -And don't forget to invite us to your next dance party.
