Live TV on Hulu may be coming your way soon
If you've cut your cable cord but are still longing for live TV, you might soon be in luck.
Hulu looks to be working on a new service, that will stream network TV, and cable shows According to the Wall Street Journal.
Sources say it will arrive in the beginning of 2017, with Disney and Fox close to signing a deal to add their shows.
The service would cost somewhere around $40 a month, which is cheaper than most cable packaging.
And that price is on par with other internet streaming TV options like DISH network swing TV and Sony Playstation View.
With more people ditching cable, who is smart to serve TV up to the masses?
The service already streams current season broadcast shows the day after they air, so it is not too much of a stretch to start streaming live TV as it happens.
For someone who already cobbles together a TV package for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Playstation Vue, I wouldn't mind a more streamlined choice.
