LG VX3450The LG VX3450 is a great basic phone with a compact and attractive design. Its excellent sound quality and intuitive controls make it one of the better basic phones.
[ Music ] ^M00:00:01 >> I'm Nicole Lee, associate editor at CNET.com and this is the LGVX 3450. And it is a very cute and compact phone for Verizon wireless. As you can see, it has a little bit of the curve, on the bottom here, a little bit of a belly on top here. It's a very basic phone for Verizon. It has no camera, no music player, just the bare basics. On the front here, you can see a nice monochrome external screen. Even though it's monochrome, it's acceptable because it is such a basic phone. On the side here, you get a dedicated voice command button. On this side here, is the volume rocker. On top here, you get a simple stubby antenna. Open it up, you get a rather lackluster screen, but again, we accept it because it is such a basic phone. As you can see, the menu is actually really easy to navigate. You know, very user friendly, very good for you know, teams, pre-teens, for easy to use. Down to the keypad here, they are raised above the surface, sort of nice, rounded texture here, just really easy to dial by feel, really easy to press. All in all, I think it's just pretty basic, as we mentioned, there is text messaging, there's a speakerphone, there's a voice memo recording, but other than that, you know, it makes calls, and that's good enough for us. My name is Nicole Lee and this is the LG VX 3450. ^M00:01:21 [ Music ]
