Hey, everyone.
I'm Jessica Dolcourt for CNET shouting at you from town nightclub in Las Vegas, which is part of the event here at CES 2012.
I'm holding in my hands the LG Viper, which is one of the first two 4G LTE smartphones that was announced for Sprint this week.
Now, this phone does (shift?) with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but it will be upgradable to to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which will be in the most recent version of Android that there is.
This phone has a 4-inch screen.
It's very pretty.
It's using the LG Nova display which is known to be very bright.
In fact, it has 700 nits of brightness if you follow this thing, which basically means that it will be very luminent and have a lot of light and it really does.
I know you can't see it from here, but it is shining out at me.
The phone also comes with Sprint (IT?), which basically gives you a gallery of (??)profiles that you can download all in one file sweep.
That's completely optional, so if you're not into that, you can just skip it over.
Powering the phone is a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.
As for other multi media, there is a 5 megapixel camera on the back.
There is a front basic camera here and there's also support for 1080p HD video capture, so you can play it somewhere else with full HD.
And one interesting ingredient on this phone is the port for NST or (??) communication which will basically let you do things like if you have to pay for goods and services.
So this is one of Sprint's 1st eco friendly Smartphone basically made out of recycled material here.
So if you love mother earth you might like this phone too.
Pricing and availability have not been announced yet.
So multi, I guess, (developer proceeded?) and you're looking at the LG Viper.
