LG shrinks it down with the G2 Mini smartphoneAs the "mini" variant of LG's current flagship, the G2 Mini sports more modest specs -- like an 8-megapixel camera, a 4.7-inch display, and a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor -- compared to its bigger G2 brother.
Hello everybody. It's Lynn La from CNET and I'm in Barcelona, Spain at MWC, and with me, I have the LG G2 mini. The handset has a 4.7-inch display with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution. Inside, you'll find a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, but if you're from Latin America, the LTE variant will have a 1.7GHz Nvidia quad-core Tegra 4i processor. It's powered by 2.44 ampere-hour removable battery, and on the front, you'll find a 1.3-megapixel camera. The back houses an 8-megapixel camera. Though, again, if you have the Latin America 4G LTE version, you'll see a 13-megapixel camera instead. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and it includes LG UI features including Knock-On and Guest Mode security. Additional features include 8 gigs of internal memory, 1 gig of RAM, and expandable memory. Now there are several versions of the LG G2 mini including 3G and 4G LTE versions as well as single SIM and dual SIM versions. And there's gonna be a lot of colors too including black, white, red and gold. You can expect this device and its global rollout sometime in March. Again, I'm Lynn, and you've been checking out the LG G2 mini.
