I'm Nicole Lee, senior associate editor for cnet.com and this is a first look at the LG Rumor Touch from Virgin Mobile.
We have seen this one before, but that was the Sprint version.
This Virgin Mobile version is almost the same with some of the few little differences here and there.
On the front here is the touchscreen, is a resistive touchscreen, so it's not quite as responsive as other capacitive smartphones.
It's a very simple user interface on here kind of empty, but when you get an
incoming message, you'll see a little bubble icon on the here.
When you press that, you'll see a conversation in bubble check form.
On the back is the 2 megapixel camera.
The LG Rumor Touch is a messaging phone.
It slides open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard.
The keyboard is nice and roomy.
The keys are all well-spaced.
There is also a key just for numbers.
As you might expect, the LG Rumor Touch has a lot of messaging features.
It also has a unique Hello UI
or hello user interface, which is a smart context interface.
This lets you group your contacts in a very visual way up to 4 different lists as you can see here.
You can also group up your contacts in a circle like this, so you can easily send group messages.
Other features of the LG Rumor Touch include GPS, a list of social networking apps like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and more.
You also get Bluetooth on here as well as a wireless web browser.
The LG
Rumor Touch is available for $149.99 from Virgin Mobile and that's without a contract.
I'm Nicole Lee and this has been the first look at the LG ** Touch from Virgin Mobile.
