-- okay.
I am rich brown senior editor for CNET they're gonna take a look at the Lenovo idea center a 71.
That's a pretty high and on one from Lenovo has a lot of touch oriented features on it that make it kind of an interesting system.
He could see it as a nice big screen here to 27 inch display shows only -- my -- that's also multi touch screen it can recognize up to ten different points and put it wants.
On probably all that Lenovo has also designed -- case of the screen is really just. Facts you can drop it all the way down.
That sits flat you can put on a coffee table or some central location and get sort of good party at -- hearing on around -- touch -- I guess.
The couple games that come with the system that work well like this up daily air hockey.
This game is called -- and it -- is like pond actually ID idea those that use your hands to create two different paddles.
And -- you can play against an opponent and he'd had a ball back for it out because they get the ball process -- -- screen.
The touch futures were actually pretty well and a affected you can land on the screen flat -- and creates an Anderson opportunities fragment -- -- uses its.
The problem though is that there aren't that many apps available fort.
I can see -- sort of this idea touch environment that Lenovo has broken it down to six different groups -- get music files videos.
Photos and with games widgets and a -- there's a specific apps you're limited to what Lenovo provides you here.
The biggest part of the app -- though is the games.
-- blow that up here we concede some of titles of familiar -- is Angry Birds there's fruit ninja.
Air hockey certainly makes sense -- this and -- games made seen before.
-- -- -- the system a few months ahead of windows eight it was in the -- trying to capitalize on that touch based PC demand.
The problem those -- is known as it launches that are mostly going to be other -- ones out there that had big touch screens.
The best advice and -- -- to wait before spending a whole lot of money and a big touch screen PC right now.
Sort of upon of this system is that because it has this fancy design and multi touch input doesn't quite have the core computing features like the scene assist in this price range.
Against cost of 1450 for this particular model for that price we expect hermit progress course since he can use decent graphics cards.
I this isn't the only has a core I five chip a 500 gigabyte hard drive and really -- budget graphics card from the that's fast enough for everyday use and you can play mainstream games on it but it doesn't quite have that -- for -- to see you know higher and on one.
Is a series of touch tech media buttons -- him by images displayed you'd volume display controls as well as the ability to swap the signal to -- he -- template.
That's great features and over and a lot of times before obviously what it does let you connect an external video source into the system uses stand on monitor.
Note over here in this -- that is also Blu-ray drive which is a great feature and there's a couple ports and use optically use.
There's no digital audio output which -- little disappointed but overall it's a well equipped online payments.
All that so that I really can't recommend the system because so much of its values tied up in its abilities of touch --
And other high end touch focused on one's coming -- close to the launch of windows eight it makes far more sense to wait force and a lot of money.
With nearly added that it had a few readers asked to put windows -- on the system and read -- that experience so I'm gonna do that respect and -- within the context of the review.
Since when is it isn't -- -- doesn't actually ship on the system so wouldn't be quite appropriate to incorporate that at that rate.
But stay -- and we'll have some windows eight based content on the system hopefully soon.
I'm rich brown this is the Lenovo -- -- -- seven point. --
