Just how scary is 'Alien: Covenant'?The stars of the new film reveal what it's like to come face to face with a classic movie monster.
Don't look in the egg, dude! [BLANK_AUDIO] [SOUND] [MUSIC] Actually, there was an outtake of me, the first time that I did it. Where I started to walk up to it, and it opened up, and I was like, I can't, I'm not looking in the egg, man. I saw the alien, I know what's about to happen to me Happen to me, and I'm not ready to die. The Alien, obviously, a classic movie monster. Was it quite scary facing it, or was it just a guy in a bright green onesie? It's not, I have to say, not really scary. There was moments that are like whoa, when we're all in the long grass and little baby creatures scuttling through the grass. That was quite a sort of scary. But I kind of find it funny as both as well, a little bit. The brilliant thing about Ridley is that he knows that the actors will give him more and it will feel more grounded for them if he gives them practical things to work with. So we always had these, some version of these creatures Just looking around. [SOUND] Holy- There was a contortionist who's in the suit, who does pursue you in it. And it is horrifying, you're on a set, you know nothing about it is real But once you're in that atmosphere, and the lights there, and they cue the alien it's like holy **** that's him I'm outta here. Yeah. [BLANK_AUDIO]
